Requests per second per API key: Free 10 · Starter 50 · Pro 200 · Scale 1,000

Each knowledge check also counts as 1 normal check. With your own AI key, knowledge checks are limited only by your normal checks.

Sign in to start free or upgrade. All tiers share the same API and rule sets — only caps and rate limits differ.

What counts as one check?

Each POST /v1/validate call = 1 check. If the rule set has repair: true and a repair is actually applied, that adds 1 check (2 total). Failed-input requests (400/401/etc.) are not billed.

How does the monthly cap reset?

On the 1st of each calendar month (UTC). Unused checks don’t roll over.

What happens if my card fails?

You keep your plan for a 7-day grace period and we email you. If the payment is still not resolved after that, your account moves to the Free plan. Existing API keys keep working at the Free plan's limits.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel anytime from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep paid-tier access until then, and you are not charged again. No refunds for partial months, except where required by law or if we bill in error. See the full refund policy and the Terms of Service.

Pricing changes

Pricing, caps, and rate limits are stable. We will give 30 days’ notice before any pricing change affecting active subscriptions.

What happens when I hit my monthly quota?

The API returns HTTP 402 with an upgrade prompt. Your checks are not queued or retried — your code should handle the 402 gracefully. You can upgrade tiers anytime from your dashboard, and additional capacity is available immediately.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes. Use the customer portal in your dashboard to manage your subscription. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep your current tier’s quota until then.

Is there a free trial of paid tiers?

We don’t offer paid-tier trials, but the Free tier is permanent — 1,000 checks per month, no card required. Most teams know within their first few checks whether Nexxtool AI fits their workflow.

Do you guarantee uptime?

No. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or SLA on any tier. We aim to keep the service available and will tell you about incidents by email at support@nexxtool.ai.
